Caret located at the meeting point of the”Grand Cul-de-Sac Marin” and the ocean, is a wonderful island with white sand and surrounded by clear water.
Blanc appeared after the cyclone “Hugo” in 1989, and is part of the “Carenage” island near by the fishing port of Sainte Rose. This island, made of white sand, is a bird nesting location.
Docking and getting closer than 150 m from the island is completely forbidden during this period of time
The beaches located in the north of “Fajou” are a nesting location for sea turtle. For this reason docking. is not authorized, however the clear and well stocked with fish water from the north of the island is a great spot for snorkeling.
“La Biche” used to be a ideal shelter for fishermans, The shelter mostly destroyed by the cyclone Maria was removed, however the lagoon is still an amazing spot to discover. Great for kids !
Next to “La Biche”, there is the “Pool”, where you will be able to observe mangrove.
Visit the shipwreck located in the north of “La Biche“. By snorkeling, you can easily discover a diversity of sea creatures.
Rivers of “Viard” and “Moustique”, situated between “Morne Rouge” Port and Sainte Rose are offering a calm tour through the mangrove.
